Meal Plans

We seek to create a dining environment that creatively caters to the diverse needs and discerning palettes of today’s college student and faculty body. This innovative and remarkable dining experience celebrates interactive service, fresh food and a fun place to gather for the campus community.
Students
Johnson C. Smith University currently offers freshman students the 19 Meal Plan which includes $300 per semester in Golden Bull Bucks. This meal plan allows for 19 meal swipes (entrances) per week at the dining hall. Golden Bull Bucks may be used only at the food court retail locations. The cost of the meal plan is included in the students Room and Board fee.
All students who contract for housing on campus are required to participate in the University’s Board Plan (Meals). The University offers two meal plan options to students living on campus (Freshman can ONLY participate in the 19 Meal Plan). Students assigned to Mosaic Village, JCSU’s off-campus housing complex, are allowed to pick any of the three meal plans below. Only students assigned to Mosaic Village may decline to purchase one of the options. The meal plans are as follows:
- 19 Meal Plan, includes $300 in Flex Dollars (Golden Bull Bucks)
- 15 Meal Plan, includes $400 in Flex Dollars (Golden Bull Bucks)
- 10 Meal Plan, includes $100 in Flex Dollars (Golden Bull Bucks)*
* This plan is for off-campus students only
Faculty/Staff & Visitors
Faculty, staff, and visitors, not on a meal plan may eat in the dining hall by paying the door rate.
- Breakfast – $7.00
- Lunch – $9.00
- Dinner – $10.00
Weekend Brunch:
- Brunch – $9.00
- Dinner – $10.00
Policies/FAQ
- All student living on campus a required to have a meal plan.
- All students must show their Student ID to enter into the Dining Hall.
- Declining Balance (Golden Bull Bucks) included in the meal plan, expire at the end of the semester and are non-refundable.
- No food can be removed from the Dining hall with the exception of Grab-N-Go carryout items.
- Please refer to the student handbook for additional dining hall policies and dress code.
